  The cottage was what i needed as home base for a few days in the beautiful area of Mammoth Lakes. I did not expect how beautiful and hikeable the surrounding... read more land was. One of the days the pup and I just stayed there and hiked around, walked along the creek, and enjoyed the views and got more than enough of a workout. The lakes are super close and beautiful. Fall is a great time to visit. The futon wasn't the most comfortable so I wouldn't plan on sleeping on that, but the rest of the cabin was comfortable. We enjoyed our stay.
