Perfect location, amenities and host ! Will come back

I had an excellent stay - in a town where all the condos are sitting on top of each other and next to each other, this place lets you get away from that and actually have nice views and feel more away from things - yet, is still totally central to all the main shops and stores of Mammoth. The bed was extremely comfortable, couch as well. Very much loved my stay.

The place is just as it's listed! Had your basic amenities needed for a successful ski trip! Didn't have any issues with oven or anything, had all the pots and pans needed. My biggest gripe was probably the bed was too soft haha personal problem and not a bad one to have. Other than that the hosts were great, responsive and eager to help when needed.

The cottage was what i needed as home base for a few days in the beautiful area of Mammoth Lakes. I did not expect how beautiful and hikeable the surrounding land was. One of the days the pup and I just stayed there and hiked around, walked along the creek, and enjoyed the views and got more than enough of a workout. The lakes are super close and beautiful. Fall is a great time to visit. The futon wasn't the most comfortable so I wouldn't plan on sleeping on that, but the rest of the cabin was comfortable. We enjoyed our stay.

We wanted a quiet stay, away from the hustle and bustle of being right in town. We were far enough away, yet close enough to be convenient and accessible for anything we needed. Close to bike paths, which is what we came to do.

This was a wonderful stay for me and my family. I would definitely do it again.

Easily walkable into town, but immediately remote once you cross the creek into the meadow. Access to loop trail around town. Great location. The place was cozy, mud room was great since we were there during snowfall.
